What is the Repair MAC feature?

Every NIC (Network Interface Card) has a unique MAC address (Media Access Control). This applies to all types of network cards, including Ethernet cards and WiFi cards. The MAC Address is a six-byte number or 12-digit hexadecimal number that is used to uniquely identify a host on a network. All MAC addresses are hard-coded into a network card and can never be changed. However, they can be changed or spoofed in the operating system itself.
The Repair MAC function is for restoration of the original MAC address of a device. This can fix issues if they originate from a damaged or changed MAC.

How does Repair MAC work?

If you want to use this feature on a device, then you will need to connect the device in ADB mode. After you connected it correctly and the device has been recognized, you will be able to choose the Repair MAC feature.

In case of a potential unauthorized physical access to any of our servers, the data stored there is useless, as our storage media are protected by sector-level AES encryption.

All passwords we store are unknown to us as well, since only the passwords’ hash values are stored, randomized with “salt”. This minimizes the risk of any leakage of actual user passwords in case of a potential database leak.
