Hardware / ChimeraTool Authenticator
To make your life a little easier, ChimeraTool licences don’t require any hardware to work – you just download the software from our website, purchase any licence you’d like and you’re good to go!
When you first use ChimeraTool, your unique licence ID is going to be attached to your computer – this means that this licence can only be used with that specific computer. You still have the option to switch computers, but only once every 48 hours.
If for any reason, you need to be able to switch computers more often than this, we recommend purchasing the ChimeraTool Authenticator. This device works in a very simple way: your unique licence ID is going to be attached to the Authenticator dongle, and NOT to your computer (which is the regular method). This means that your licence can be used on any computer that has the ChimeraTool software installed – all you have to do is plug in your Authenticator and you can instantly get to work.
The Authenticator can only be purchased together with a licence.
