Since the first release of our Oppo, OnePlus and Realme Qualcomm EDL solution, we have continued testing additional models together with our users. The following devices have now been successfully verified and are fully supported.
With all updates combined, we have now reached more than 150 supported devices within the past four days.
If you test additional devices, feel free to share your results together with your Work ID so we can continue expanding the supported list.

You may have already guessed it. Our third update focuses on Realme. With this release, we are adding support for a large number of Realme Qualcomm devices that no other tool has been able to service in EDL mode before.
These models normally require authenticated programmers, which means traditional tools can only handle them through online verification. With Chimera, this limitation does not apply. You can service all supported Realme Qualcomm devices fully offline using your existing Chimera licence.
Many users have been asking for Realme Qualcomm support, and we are happy to deliver it as the next milestone of our Update Week series.
With today’s update, we now support more than 120 successfully tested devices, and the real number is likely even higher. Many additional Realme, OnePlus and Oppo Qualcomm models should also work with this solution, even if they have not yet been verified.

We're excited to announce another world-first solution — Chimera now supports most Oppo/OnePlus Qualcomm devices released since 2014 in EDL mode. This means hundreds of new supported models and a major improvement for service professionals.
Until now, Oppo/OnePlus Qualcomm devices required authentication to use their programmers, meaning you had to depend on online-only solutions. We’ve eliminated that limitation — from now on, you can perform all key operations offline with your Chimera licence.
Many users have requested Oppo/OnePlus Qualcomm support for a long time, and now it’s here.
We’ve already tested a wide range of Oppo/OnePlus Qualcomm devices, but we know there are many more out there. Consider this a small challenge — try the new solution with other models, and if you find additional devices that work, let us know on any of our forums. Please include your Work ID when sharing your results so we can verify and add them to our supported list.
Stay tuned — we’ll be back tomorrow with the next wave of our world-first update!

The Chimera Team is back from the summer holidays, recharged and ready to deliver! We're ready to roll out exciting updates, powerful new features, and broader device support — all designed to make your servicing experience smoother and faster than ever.
So you see what we’re talking about — here is a huge update with some of the stuff we’ve been working on silently lately.
We’re excited to share that Chimera now offers broader support for MTK devices powered by the MT6991 and MT6899 chipsets. Device detection is fully supported with DAs compiled up to January 2025, and in most cases, even beyond. Our new development affects older models as well: Chimera can now provide a broader level of support for the whole range of MTK devices.
Newly Supported Models:
On the devices above, the following procedures are now available: Factory Reset, Remove FRP, Get Info, Backup/Restore, Firmware Update.
We’ve created a step-by-step tutorial video to help you get started quickly. You can watch it here: Mediatek Dimensity 9400 & Variants Support.
Note: Availability may vary by firmware/security patch level. We’ll continue to refine performance and extend the support.
We’ve expanded our MTK capabilities with full support for UFS RPMB regions. Chimera can now detect and manage multiple RPMB partitions (0–3), and these regions can now be saved and restored securely, ensuring reliable data handling across a wider range of devices.
We’ve introduced a new chooser feature that lets users load and use their own DA files. This makes device connections faster and more flexible, especially when working with dozens or even hundreds of the same model one after another.
We refined the filtering options in the MTK flash interface, making it easier and faster for you to find the relevant files when flashing your devices.
We discovered that in certain cases our MTK flash procedure could fail when flashing the super partition. We identified the root cause, fixed the issue, and now the flash procedure works reliably.
We’ve updated our procedure for IT Admin Lock bypass. This new method improves reliability while preserving user data and keeping Play Store functionality intact, so you can unlock devices without affecting the user experience. The procedure is available in ADB mode.
Our EUB Network Factory Reset procedure has been extended to support the CHA carrier, broadening network reset coverage.
We’ve added a brand-new UI feature that allows you to easily keep track of all your attached devices, giving you a clear overview of connections right inside Chimera.
So, what do you think? We’d love to hear your feedback — join the conversation on our forums or in our Telegram channel!

We deeply appreciate the patience and insightful feedback shared by our dedicated user community. Your contributions are invaluable, guiding us as we enhance and fine-tune Chimera. Our team remains committed to building a more powerful and reliable application that consistently meets your needs and expectations.
We've spent considerable time restructuring Chimera to better serve our users. In the past, many features were restricted to users with only a Samsung licence, limiting the application's full potential for a broader audience. To accelerate our development and release cycles and make powerful features accessible to a wider user group, we've reimagined both the application and the licencing structure.
Now, all our licences support all brands and procedures, giving you comprehensive access across the board. Each licence also comes with unique bonuses, ensuring you get the most value based on your needs. For more information on our new licences, please have a look at our shop.
We've implemented a modern, sleek, and highly intuitive UI that enhances the user experience. It's been designed to look great while improving navigation and making each feature easily accessible.
The new Dashboard brings a wealth of work-related data directly to you. Monitor and manage all your activities at a glance, with essential insights readily available.
Loads of informational pages that were previously available only online can now be accessed directly through the app, providing comprehensive support at your fingertips. These pages include:
Now, all critical information is just a click away to assist you with every procedure.
To provide a seamless experience for our global user base, we've greatly expanded Chimera's language options. The app now includes additional translations, making it more accessible and user-friendly for a wide range of languages. This ensures users can interact with Chimera in their preferred language, enhancing the overall usability and comfort.
